Guesthouse O Miradouro

O Miradouro

O Miradouro

In the center of the picturesque village Avô you find the Pensão O Miradouro.

The guesthouse was built more than 100 years ago and was meant to be a habitat for the Governor of Angola at that time. Only many years later the house was transformed into a guest house.

Many authentic details remained. The guesthouse was built out of big blocks of granite and has a wonderful view on the Picoto, the small island in the Rio Alva.

The current owners are a Portuguese-Dutch couple: Helder and Marianna Correia. Apart from Portuguese and Dutch, they speak English, French, Spanish and Italian.
